Aaron Pierce Wins at Sandusky

ANDERSON, Ind. (September 29, 2013) – Earning his second victory in two weeks, Aaron Pierce captured his fifth feature win in Pavement Sprint Car Racing. Last weekend, Pierce won at his home track Anderson (IN) Speedway in the non-wing USSA Sprint Car Challenge Series, on Sunday, September 29, Pierce returned to the Winged Sprits taking the win in the Auto Value Super Sprints (AVSS) season finale at Sandusky (OH) Speedway.

Pierce moved into first position with a pass on Jimmy McCune, who concluded the 2013 season with a HOSS victory at Angola and podium at Sandusky . Following Pierce across the finish line included 2013 Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series titlist Brian Gerster and McCune to fill out the podium. Tim Cox and Dave Baumgartner rounded out the top-five finishers.

Jason Blonde earned his fifth AVSS title, narrowly besting Joe Swanson in the final points tally.
