Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints 2020 Season coming together with more races and venues!admin
The AVBBSS 2020 schedule is coming together nicely and promises to be an exciting season. The 2019 season had Non-Winged Sprints returning to Winchester Speedway after a lengthy sprint car absence. The 2020 season will have the Winged Sprints returning to another historic track that has also had a long absence of sprint cars.
AVBBSS will be teaming up again with King of the Wing for races in Florida, and Colorado, just as we did last year, as well as the long-awaited return to the Midwest in June for a weekend of races. Defending Midwest Champion Derek Snyder will be defending his title against drivers from across the country with several teams vowing to make all of the series stops to include the Northwest (Idaho and Washington), as well as the Southwest (Arizona and California.)
The 2020 season will have a good mix of at least 10 Winged Sprints races and 10 Non-Winged Sprint races across Michigan and Indiana. We will also have a few weekends of double headers to help our teams with reducing travel expenses and giving our fans bigger shows. These shows will be returning to great tracks like Berlin Speedway, Kalamazoo Speedway, Birch Run Event Center, and Baer Field Motorsports Park, as well as co-sanctioning three non-winged events at Anderson Speedway.
The points structure will remain the same in the 2020 season crowning both Winged and Non-Winged Champions as well as an overall season champion. Defending champion Bobby Santos III will have more races to compete in to retain his title this year.
We will have the full schedule out in the next few days, once we complete dates with a couple more venues. We are striving this year to not compete with other race dates such as the Silver Crown Series, which some of our teams compete in.
The AVBBSS family of owners, teams, drivers and fans look forward to seeing you at the tracks this season and want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
