Jason Blonde: Inducted Into Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame

Following an exciting win, to open the season, Jason Blonde of the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series has been inducted into the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame. Jason began racing in 1993 on dirt at Butler Motor Speedway. He continued to race at area dirt tracks until 1999! Jason was crowned the 1999 AVSS dirt Champion! Shortly after Jason made the transition to pavement in 2000 when he was asked to drive for friend and car owner Mike Katz! Since then Jason has become an 8 time Auto Value Super Sprint champion on pavement. He has had various career wins in feature races on dirt and pavement. Jason continues racing today and aims to continue improving. When asked about being inducted into the Hall of Fame Jason writes, “This is such an honor! And it wouldn’t be possible without the support of my family! I also need to thank my car owners and crews, (past and present) without each and every one of you this would not be possible! And finally, thank you to the fans for supporting this sport we love! I have the best fans in the world…”

We encourage everyone to join us tomorrow, June 9th at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan for some exciting racing action. Jason will be in attendance.
