Jo Jo Helberg Scores M-40 Win

JONES, Mich. (June 9, 2013) – Jo Jo Helberg continued his strong start to the 2013 season with winning the season debut of the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series (HOSS) at M-40 Speedway on Saturday, June 8.

Helberg turned fastest lap in qualifications and stared the feature in the eighth position for the HOSS return to the Michigan short track. Tim Cox took the initial lead with Kyle Feeney and Mike Astrauskas following. Cox held the lead until Helberg made his way through to challenge for the lead, taking the lead on lap 18. He was followed to the finish by Cox, Tyler Roahrig, Troy DeCaire, and Kody Swanson rounding out the top five. Heat winners were Joe Swanson, Kody Swanson, and Bill Tyler.
