February 16th, 2013 dturner Series director Tom Hartsell just informed me that the 2012 form 1099 will be mailed around Fedruary 21-22. Unfortunately, logistics behind the scenes have made it difficult to obtain some of the records needed. All records have been secured, and the team is hard at work trying to finish everything up.

Rule Clarification

Tentative 2013 Schedule Now Posted
December 17th, 2012 dturner A tentative 2013 Schedule has been released by the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints. The action will begin on May 11, with a co-sanction show at Baer Field Speedway with the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series. The AVSS season will start the following weekend on May 18, at the famed Berlin raceway located in Marne, MI. While most dates are confirmed, there are still a few dates being worked on. Read more »

2013 Rule Book Now Posted
December 10th, 2012 dturner The 2013 rule book is now available online here. Printed rule books will also be available at the banquet, or by contacting AVSS.
Notable rule updates for 2013 include, but not limited to:
* No open drivelines of any type permitted.
* Top and nose wings center sections must be square or rectangle, with all four corners being 90 degrees. No rhombus or trapezoid type wings.
* Helmets must be snell 2005 or newer.
* Throttle kill switch must be installed.

Gordy Hubbard in Hospital
December 4th, 2012 dturner Long time friend and supporter of the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints, Gordy Hubbard, is currently in the hospital. No other information is available at this time. However, I am sure Gordy could use some cards, or anything else to cheer him up, and let him know we are thinking of him during this time.
