The 2020 schedule promises to be an exciting season and has had some updates, we will be featuring 20 races in 4 states and several packed weekends of exciting races.
The WINGED series is teaming up with the King of the Wing for three races and will debut in June as the series is returning to Kalamazoo Speedway June 19th. Kalamazoo is a driver and fan favorite and is a good location to debut in 2020.
July 3rd and 4th has the series headed to Colorado National Speedway, for two days of racing and fireworks, followed by Intermountain Speedway in Cheyanne, Wyoming on July 5th.
August 21st the series returns to the Kalamazoo Speedway and September 5th has the Winged Sprints returning to Michigan’s Berlin Raceway, in Marne Michigan. We are excited about putting the wings on again at Berlin and looking forward to a great show there.
The Midwest King of the Wing weekend is being rescheduled for September and we will be releasing the schedule as soon as we possibly can. We are still working to get a couple more shows that will be announce later giving the Super Sprints a good possibility of a 9 plus shows in the 2020 season.
The Winged series will crown two champions again in 2020, with the Midwestern Champion the highest points for the Michigan and Indiana races, and the overall champion for the driver accumulating the points of all winged races in the season.
The NON-WINGED season will debut on May 9th at Berlin Raceway, the first of two stops for the non-winged at Berlin,
June 6th the sprints will be invading Salem Speedway for a non winged event.
The weekend of June 12-13 will be an exciting weekend as the non-wings run at least two shows, starting with the Birch Run Motor Sports Park and Event Center June 12th. Saturday the 13th we will be returning to Berlin Speedway, and a TBA for the 14th
July 11th the sprints will be returning to Anderson Speedway for the first of three stops, followed by August 1st and October 3rd.
We are working on 2 or 3 more races for August, to potentially have 12 non-winged races through out Indiana and Michigan.
